"Gakobi, Margaret" / "Nicholas R. Reiter" / "Jul 16 1914" / "Book 46" / "Page 5". A hand shadow covers the lower right of the page; the entry itself is clear.

Plain reading

The index lists the bride under the surname "Gakobi" (the transcript on file and Chapter 5 give Jakobi). It places the license on 16 July 1914 in book 46, page 5. It gives no residence, parents or birthplace for either party.

Notes

The spelling "Gakobi" is the indexer's or clerk's reading of "Jakobi" (POSSIBLE; unchecked against the application).

Conflicts noted: Margaret's surname "Gakobi" (image) against "Jakobi" (Chapter 5 [17], the transcript on file). Likely a G/J misreading; not settled.
