Sworn
Sworn and subscribed before R. E. Ferguson, Assistant Clerk of Orphans' Court, 6 May 1919
Chapter 4 identifies Emma Sr. as Emma Caroline Wesemann (1869-1925), established there to the confirmed-by-anchor-data standard through her own remarriage record, her children's birth registers, and the 1900 census. "Wheatman" is almost certainly a clerk's mishearing of Wesemann, the same kind of drift that produced "Wesemay" and "Wiseman" elsewhere in this family's records; the sister Caroline W. Boentgen's 1919 application gives the maiden name correctly as Wesemann.
