Translation (English)

9\. Linse, 21 September [Tuesday]. The widower, Master Hermann Jürgen Schäfer, formerly miller at Amelunxen in the Corvey territory, now miller at Linse, and Mrs. Wilhelmine Elisabeth born Heyken, widow left behind by the late Master Rudolph Dempewulff, formerly mill tenant at Linse.

Notes

Settles the bride's surname (Heyken, against "[Heyken?]" in F287) and dates the death of the Mittelmühle tenant Rudolph Dempewulff (Gerhard Rudolph in 1757, Burchard Rudolph in 1761) to between 23 September 1761 and 21 September 1762. Schäfer was already "jetziger Müller zu Linse" before the wedding; he came from Amelunxen in the Corvey territory (Weser, near Höxter), a different place from the Amelungsborn of F318. That he took the Mittelmühle by marrying the tenant's widow: PROBABLE. Grade: STATED.
