Translation (English)
Oldershausen had no mill in 1689: the village (98 persons) and the manor list no miller. Andreas Dempewolf, Brinksitzer at Oldershausen, with children Anna Catrina (16), Angenese Dortie (10), Jürgen Philipp (6) and Catrina Margreta (6). At Willershausen the miller Hans Jürgen [Bedunan?] occupied "a small mill of poor living" (2 Morgen; 1 Taler), with a wife, a maid Ilse Grete (20) and his old mother-in-law as Leibzüchterin; Hans Dempewolf, Brinksitzer, with a wife and a daughter Anna. At Sebexen the full farmer and miller Julius Westphalen, two mill runs. Amt Katlenburg: the Amt miller, with oil mill and sawmill. Amt Rotenkirchen: the Amt miller, three runs and a sawmill, with a man and a boy; in a village of the Amt the widow of Vict Apol, miller, assessed lower because her mill did not always run.
