Translation (English)
Linse, Sunday 7 August: the miller [Johann Conrad] Nagel and Johanne Christine Hesse had a daughter baptized (born Thursday 4 August, between 11 and 12 at noon). The godmother was the wife of Joh. Christoph Hartjen of Eschershausen. She is named Johanne Dorothee Eleonore.
Notes
The clerk struck a forename and wrote "Jo. Conrad" above it: the corrected form agrees with the 1770 marriage ("Johann Conrad Christoph Nagel") and the Negenborn marriage ("Johann Conrad Nagel"), not with the 1770 burial ("Heinr. Conr."). No mill named. The only Nagel row in the index (p. 33). Grade: STATED.
