Notes
Surname underlined in the register; reads Wesemann: W, then e, long s descending below the line, e, m, a, n, n.
First forename reads Johann (Joh- with a doubled final stroke), not Jobst. The Northeim baptisms of 1738 and 1741 (382952, Bilder 23, 34) were read as ‘Jobst Andreas Wesemann, miles.’ Same man: possible, until the forename is settled.
The day is read from ‘d. 25.’ before the groom’s name; the month is above the crop.
The bride’s surname is written twice and reads differently each time (Rohtleiff, Roßleiff). Provisional in the file name.
Leib-Kompanie: the colonel’s own company of the regiment. ‘Invaliden’: a soldier discharged as unfit.
Register identified as Northeim from its Archion number (382957, beside the Northeim baptisms 382952). Confirm the volume title on Archion.
