Translation (English)
Groom: Friedrich Heinrich August Garbe, born at Eime 12 March 1829, bachelor, owner of the [Rats?]keller at Salzhemmendorf, son of the late burgher and Vollmeier Johann Conrad Garbe of Eime in the Hanoverian Amt [Lauenstein?] and Catharine Luise Koch. Bride: Julie Caroline Ernestine Brand, born 21 October 1833, unmarried, of Halle, a twin daughter of the innkeeper Conrad Brand of Halle and Henriette Regenhard[t]. Banns 7 and 14 December at Halle and Eime; married 18 December 1856 at Halle.
Notes
The mother's surname was first read here as R[einhardt?]. The 1874 marriage of her brother Christoph Karl August Brand (390653, Bild 45) writes it Regenhard[t] with no doubt about the g; the 1865 marriage of her twin (Bild 114) agrees. Read this entry against those two.
Readings to check: the Amt (Lauenstein?).
A Halle Brand household, key B-2; not George's mother's Linse family. Garbe of Eime is context only.
Grade: Stated (event). Cleared for the Linse Brand line; Appendix C.
