Translation. Hanne Caroline Luise Waßmann, illegitimate daughter of Friederike Luise and of the joiner (Tischler) Heinrich Waßmann. Died 27 March at 10 p.m.; buried 30 March, quietly. Cause: whooping cough. Age 1 year, 2 months, 26 days. Remark: subsequently legitimated by marriage; see the baptismal register, pp. 6[4] and 276, no. 17.
Changed from the earlier pass. Given name recovered. The father is named and is the child’s own father, not the mother’s father as previously read. Dates move from 24/26 March to 27/30 March. Age moves from nine months to 1y 2m 26d. Cause of death and the legitimation note are both new.
