On 26 December [1718] was buried Mi[…] [forename not read] Wasman[n], who died on the 22nd, aged 78 years.

Surname underlined, a tall long s, one n at the line end. The word after "ist" begins "Mi" (Müller or Meister? not read); the four-letter forename is not read. Born about 1640: POSSIBLY Hans Wasmann the Erbmüller (wife buried 1699) and the father of the miller Johann. No gap in the year's numbering (nos. 15–16 run on). Grade: PROBABLE (the burial of a Wasman aged 78); POSSIBLE (that he is Hans the miller).
