Notes

The volume's running lists of 1761–1767 mix baptisms, marriages and burials by date. PROBABLE that he is the Hinrich Wilhelm Sporleder of the 1751 baptism and the "weiland Wilh. Sporleder, gewesenen Vollmeyers" of the 1778 marriage: George's 2x great-grandfather (same forenames, surname and parish; Altarist is a church office a farmer could hold). Georg Ludewig was about 16. Born about 1722–1723 (44) or 1717–1718 (49); either way before the first Esperde register (1725), so his baptism is not in an Esperde volume. The Corporal Sporleder whose son died in April 1767 is another man; the Christoph Brand of Esperde is unplaced. Grade: STATED (the entry); the identification PROBABLE; the age POSSIBLE (44 or 49).
