On 11 Feb 1739, about 9 in the evening, a son was born to Joh. [surname]; baptized on the 13th and named Joh. Joachim.
Notes
- The index annotation shows its compiler saw a non-standard spelling; I read the annotation as Wasmann, Paul as Wesemann; neither is settled. First W entry after the Salzhemmendorf negative window (ended 9 Dec 1738, D76; addendum file 16, section 16.1). TO DO: sponsor line (look for Küster, Campen, Albrecht or Grubenhagen names); surname letter by letter. Part of the possible theory in D34-D36 (Paul, 5 Oct 2026).
Conventions
[ ] editorial addition or expansion; [?] uncertain reading; [...] illegible or outside the crop; [sic] as written. Spelling, capitals and abbreviations follow the register. Draft reading from screen-resolution images.
