Transcription (original language)
Johann Wasmann einen Sohn getaufft; Gevattern Andr. Lisberg, Henr. Waltmann, Caspar Schäfers fr.; Henr. Andreas [margin: cross and a year read as 1777]. Reminiscere 1701: gevatter Hans Wasmanns Sohn Johann (clear). (Draft.)
Translation (English)
Hans Wasmann has a son Johann, godfather from 1701, father in 1703; probably the Johan Wasman der Müller of 1716 (D134).
Notes
F17: father Hans (1689 census), son Johann (1701-1716).
Where the miller's son went is open: step O9.3 (THEORY).
Re-read 20 October 2026 at maximum zoom: "Am [Freytage?] alß den 9 Junii Johann Wasman einen Sohn getaufft; die Gevattern: Andr. Riseberg, Henr. Waltman, Caspar Schäfers Fr. … Das Kind heißt Henr. Andr.", margin ✝1777, under the year heading 1702. Correction: the baptism is 9 June 1702, not Quasimodogeniti 1703 (the file name keeps its old year); the first sponsor reads Riseberg, not Lisberg.
