On 3 May [Barthold] Brandet near Linse [had baptized] a daughter, born 26 April. Sponsors: Margaretha Meyer, the child's mother's sister; Hans Meyer of the [Weißenburg?] at Halle; and Ilse, Hans Fricke's wife, of Linse. Name: Dorothea.
Notes
The mother's sister is a Meyer: the one clue to the wife's family (with 1668). The first name is written "Barthe" with a flourish; "Brandet" clear. Grade: STATED (screen draft).
