The earlier draft's “Vorwerk” was a misreading of “Dornoff”, and the 1843 date was, again, the mother's birth year mistakenly applied to the baptism itself; her correct birth year is 1845, not 1843, matching Entry 3 above exactly. > > No connection to either target sibling.

Correction, 12 October 2026: the surname read Dornoff is probably Vorwohle. The 1871 marriage of the couple (Bild 35, no. 3) shows a capital V (not this clerk's D), then o, r, w, o, h, l, e.
