Checked, Not a Match
Bild 171, 1848, Entry 35: an illegitimate birth entry, 14 December 1848 at Kirchbrak, child of a woman whose surname was read closely but does not appear to be Wesemann or Brand — the capital letter and word shape running into ‘-mann zu Kirchbrak’ do not match either surname as they appear elsewhere in this project's material. Best working reading of the surname is something close to ‘B[?]hrsmann,’ not confirmed. The alleged father is noted separately, surname reading as approximately ‘Schwierig.’ Logged here as checked and not a match, rather than omitted, in case the surname reading is revisited.
