Notes
The year heading reads "im Jahre 185[4]" (the last digit handwritten on the printed form); Bild 85 carries the same 1854 heading (to no. 20, born 18 December 1854, baptized 7 January 1855) and Bild 86 is headed 1855 (nos. 1–4: fathers Lage, Stat?, Schmidt [Großköther] and one unnamed; no Dörries), so 1854 stands. The widower of George's aunt Justine (died 1840) was still master miller at Rühle in June 1854, with a second wife born 8 March 1820 (her forenames read Justine Wilhelmine Amalie Elisabeth in the 1841 marriage, D817). Grade: STATED (the mother's surname doubtful; the year digit PROBABLE).
